How Laadio works

  • Ranked by price only

The cheapest free charger comes first. If we ever earn from a partner, it says ‘Partner’, and it never moves up.

  • No account

Your favourites and charge cards stay on your phone. There is nothing to log in to.

  • Open data, with sources

The data comes from official open sources in each country. Something wrong? Report it from the app.

Where the data comes from

Prices are indicative. The price on the charger applies.

Questions

Is Laadio free?

Yes. There's no subscription and there are no ads.

When can I download the app?

Laadio comes to Android first, on Google Play. Leave your email and you'll be the first to know. An iPhone version will follow.

How current is the status?

Most charge points report their status every minute to every few minutes. Not every operator shares live status; then you see ‘status unknown’.

Does it work with my charge card?

Pick your cards in the app. Laadio then works out what you pay at every charger, and whether another card would be cheaper.

Are the prices always right?

We show what operators publish, including VAT. Sometimes a price is missing or estimated; the app tells you when. The price on the charger itself applies.

Charge for less, from day one.
